Specibio Human Nasal Fluid, pooled. Pack size: 1 ml.
Human nasal fluid is a mucosal biofluid matrix for upper-airway and local immune-response research.
It can be evaluated for nasal biomarker assays and analytical extraction workflows.
Pooled material combines contributions from multiple donors for studies using a composite matrix.
Confirm whether the specimen is native secretion or lavage and whether collection introduced dilution. Pathogen positivity is not specified.
For research use only. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Specifications: The fluid is collected from donors in an FDA-approved or similar certified collection center.
Please note that this product does not allow for donor requests off-the-shelf, but custom specified lots to your exact specifications can be made available upon requests. Contact us for details & pricing.
Application: โข Upper-airway biomarker research.
โข Exploratory mucosal protein and cytokine analysis.
โข Nasal-fluid immunoassay and extraction-method development.
โข Matrix-effect studies for nasal-fluid analytical platforms.
โข Suitability must be verified for the specific assay and lot.
Viral Testing: The product is tested for the standard FDA-required viral markers, and found negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV-1/HIV-2 Antigen Antibody Combo, and AntiโT. Pallidum using FDA-approved methods. When applicable a licensed NAT for Babesia has been performed and found to be non-reactive, if you would like any further testing or analysis performed prior to shipping, please let us know. While we make every effort to ensure the safety of our products, we recommend following universal precautions as laid out by the following organizations WHO, CDC and OSHA, when handling biological materials.
Product Handling: For handling, keep frozen until needed, dispense into single-use aliquots where practical, and avoid repeated freezeโthaw cycles, which can alter cytokine measurements.
